Abstract

Perhatian terhadap sosok dan kinerja anggota penyelenggara pemilu dari waktu ke waktu semakin besar. Terkait
dengan itu, rekrutmen anggota KPU Kabupaten/Kota sebagai salah satu tahap dalam penyelenggaraan pemilu di
Provinsi Jawa Barat menjadi sangat penting. Untuk itu, telah terbit berbagai kebijakan berbentuk Undang-Undang dan
Peraturan KPU yang menjadi landasan regulatif dalam proses rekrutmen dan seleksi anggota KPU Kabupaten Kota.
Dalam implementasinya, berbagai kebijakan tersebut pada beberapa tahapan seleksi tidak berlangsung sebagaimana
yang telah digariskan. Untuk berlangsungnya seleksi di masa yang akan datang secara lebih baik perlu adanya evaluasi
kebijakan secara menyeluruh.
