Therefore, tourism activities in the Warungboto Tourist Village require further development. This development cannot be carried out independently by the local community but necessitates interaction among various stakeholders. This study aims to describe the interactions among the six helixes present in the Warungboto Tourist Village, namely the Yogyakarta City Government, higher education institutions, industries within the Warungboto Tourist Village, the local community, the environment, and the media (the six-helix model). This study used descriptive qualitative method. The findings indicate that interactions among these six helixes are essential for the sustainable tourism development of the Warungboto Tourist Village. These results align with the hexa-helix theory, which posits that government, academia, industry, community, environment, and media interaction are vital for sustainable development. Further research can be carried out for the development of tourism in tourist villages through interaction between the government, universities, industrial communities, the media and the environment or other fields.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rumsari Hadi Sumarto, Lukas Dwiantara, Junior Hendri Wijaya, Analius Giawahttps://jia.stialanbandung.ac.id/index.php/jia/article/view/1254Analyzing the Implementation of Village Regulations in Ulak Pandan Village, West Merapi Subdistrict, Lahat Regency: A Descriptive Study 2025-06-10T14:45:14+00:00Kun Budiantokunbudianto_uin@radenfatah.ac.id
With the enactment of Law No. 6 of 2014, a new era of empowering rural communities began, enabling them to define their roles, set priorities, and exercise authority. The objective was to promote economic prosperity and cultural recognition for villages, as they function as the backbone of village democracy, reflecting independence and local community growth. This aspiration is embodied in the fundamental principles of the regulation, which emphasize a blend of recognition and subsidiarity concepts. Consequently, understanding the policies adopted by Village Leaders in community development and the process of formulating village regulations in line with Law No. 6/2014 became essential. The research problem was formulated within the framework of the Village Law, supported by Presidential Regulation No. 43 of 2014, focusing on the implementation of Law No. 6/2014 regarding villages and examining the process of village regulation development. The theoretical framework of Inu Kencana Syafiie’s Coordination Theory served as a lens through which this descriptive-analytical study explored the challenges faced by rural communities. The authors employed field research to examine how the formulation of village regulations in West Merapi Subdistrict, specifically in Ulak Pandan Village, Lahat Regency, aligns with the provisions of Law No. 6/2014 on village governance.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Kun Budiantohttps://jia.stialanbandung.ac.id/index.php/jia/article/view/1244Does Public Trust Encourage Voluntary Tax Compliance? A Study of Indonesian Taxpayers2025-05-22T17:03:07+00:00Shelvishelvi@unpar.ac.idTutik Rachmawatitutikr@unpar.ac.id
Indonesia continues to face persistent challenges in improving tax compliance. This study examines how public trust influences individuals’ willingness to voluntarily fulfill their tax obligations. A mixed-methods design was employed. Quantitative data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 227 urban taxpayers, selected through purposive sampling based on recent tax compliance experience. Qualitative insights were drawn from in-depth interviews with selected participants to provide contextual understanding. Statistical analysis using PLS-SEM shows that trust in government has a significant and positive effect on voluntary tax compliance (path coefficient = 0.575, p < 0.01). Respondents were more likely to comply when they perceived tax revenues were used fairly and transparently. Interviews reinforced that fairness, transparency, and credible leadership are key elements that shape public trust. The findings suggest that building institutional trust is critical for long-term tax compliance. Policymakers need to shift away from coercive strategies and instead foster trust through transparent governance, equitable tax allocation, and consistent public communication. This study highlights the importance of behavioral and institutional factors in shaping tax morale in a middle-income country context
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 shelvi shelvi, Tutik Rachmawatihttps://jia.stialanbandung.ac.id/index.php/jia/article/view/1235Comparative Analysis of Talent Management Implementation in Agam, Indonesia, and Local Governments in South Korea and Russia2025-05-24T16:07:30+00:00Septiana Dwiputriantitiana.dwi@gmail.comAlexander KotcheguraKoch.alex.dr@mail.ruHye Kyoung Leejoyfulangela@naver.comSri Wahyunisriwhyn.0285@gmail.com
This study examines an integrated model of talent management in the context of Agam's local government. To provide specific recommendations, this research analyses Agam's talent management systems, considering best practices from South Korea and Russia and seeks to identify gaps. A qualitative case study design was employed, and semi-structured interviews were held with selected participants, which led to the creation of an ITM model that accounts for Agam's specific socio-political and economic context. The study's findings suggest that the talent management systems in Agam face TM access restrictions due to limited training opportunities, insufficient skill evaluation, and retention issues of skilled personnel during political transitions. In contrast, Russia and South Korea adopt more sophisticated talent management (TM) approaches, including systematic talent assessment, performance-based promotion, and extensive training, to improve workforce competency. This ITM model defines talent management within the framework of competency-based management and inclusivity, providing practical approaches towards the challenges of talent attraction, development, and retention. Drawing on insights from South Korean and Russian practices, this study provides a basis for developing a strategy to improve TM in Agam. The study emphasises the significance of tailored TM strategies while providing recommendations for policymakers aimed at improving governance and the performance of public administration in developing areas.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Septiana Dwiputrianti, Alexander Kotchegura, Hye Kyoung Lee, Sri Wahyunihttps://jia.stialanbandung.ac.id/index.php/jia/article/view/1233Breaking the Cycle: Public Policy Innovations for Disability Inclusion and Poverty Reduction in Indonesia2025-06-12T02:28:39+00:00Vellayati Hajadvellayati.hajad@utu.ac.idIkhsan Ikhsanikhsan.baharudin@utu.ac.idHerizal Herizal4033140064@erciyes.edu.trIkhwan Rahmatika Latifikhwanrahmatikalatif@utu.ac.idIlham Mirza Saputrailhammirzasaputra@utu.ac.id
This study explores innovative public policy strategies to break the cycle of disability-related poverty in Indonesia through a comprehensive literature review. The analysis reveals that barriers to education, employment, health services, and social protection, exacerbated by discrimination and stigma, are structural and mutually reinforcing poverty and exclusion. Grounded in the social model of disability and the capability approach, the study emphasizes that poverty is not merely a result of impairment but systemic obstacles limiting individual agency and opportunity. It highlights the role of Law Number 8 of 2016 as a foundational legal framework while stressing the need for consistent implementation, cross-sectoral coordination, and active participation of persons with disabilities in policymaking. Promising approaches include inclusive governance, accessible infrastructure, skills development programs, and stigma reduction initiatives. The study contributes theoretically by reinforcing the view that disability inclusion is a matter of rights and a strategic imperative for sustainable development and social justice. Embedding inclusive values into the core of public policy is key to reducing inequality and ensuring no one is left behind in Indonesia’s development.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vellayati Hajad, Ikhsan Ikhsan, Herizal Herizal, Ikhwan Rahmatika Latif, Ilham Mirza Saputrahttps://jia.stialanbandung.ac.id/index.php/jia/article/view/1213A Bibliometric Analysis of Green Marketing on Consumer Behavior Using R Studio2025-06-07T02:56:51+00:00Iwan Kurniawaniwan.kurniawan@upi.eduAgus Rahayuagusrahayu@upi.eduHeny Hendrayatihenyhendrayati@upi.edu
The analysis was comprehensively conducted on 326 research articles and reviews published in 149 journals listed in the Scopus database from 1995 to 2024, providing measurable and valuable insights into research trends in green marketing and consumer behavior. Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021 on the Procurement of Government Goods and Services reflects the government's commitment to enhancing the transparency and accountability of procurement processes. A key component of this initiative is the implementation of the General Procurement Plan Information System (SiRUP). This paper examines how SiRUP has contributed to the procurement of goods and services within the West Java Provincial Government. The method used in writing this article is a qualitative method with documentation studies. Data was obtained from secondary sources from the Bureau of Goods and Services Procurement of the West Java Provincial Secretariat. The findings of this study indicate that, despite the implementation of the SiRUP application, the procurement process within the West Java Provincial Government has not yet been fully optimized in practice. Improvements are needed, particularly in terms of human resources related to competency, as well as in the optimization of the system itself.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ivan Darmawan, Nandang Alamsah Deliarnoor, Neneng Yani Yuningsih
